Climate and country air a stone’s throw from Santiago de Chile. It is the first impression of a tour where the Mediterranean goodness of Paine shines. It has a deep agricultural richness expressed in fruits such as watermelons, prestigious nationally. Of course, this quality extends to other crops. That is why we visited a native species nursery and then went horseback riding through the foothills of the Coastal Mountain Range. Many of these plants were known by the native peoples, who settled in the valley before the arrival of the Spaniards.
Part of their culture will be appreciated in a meal inspired by their knowledge. The end is reserved for Viña Pérez Cruz, known for the quality of its wines and the award-winning architecture of its winery, built entirely of wood, a sign of its commitment to sustainable production, at the foot of the Andes Mountains.
