There are many hidden surprises in the town of Huelquén, a small corner of peasant customs. We will start with a visit to its traditional bakery, dating from 1908, surprising for the quality of its bread: the traditional “marraqueta”. After breakfast, we will visit the old Casona Patronal and Dual Museum of El Tránsito.
Then we will go to Antiyal, a boutique winery recognized for its winemaking philosophy linked to biodynamic agriculture, applied to wines of international fame.
The area is also a refuge for diverse culinary expressions, such as those of the Chacana restaurant, family and Italian, located towards the foothills of the foothills. From there, along the Padre Hurtado road, an old Inca and Spanish road, the centenary facilities of Viña Santa Rita appear. It is one of the most traditional wineries in the country, a symbol of the Maipo Valley. A tour of its manor house, its wineries and the remarkable Andean Museum is an unforgettable experience.
